Himbauan Pagaras Kepada Peserta Seleksi Penerimaan Anggota Polri di Papua 2024

Pada tahun ini, Pagaras mengamati proses penerimaan Registrasi Identitas Polri (RIM) terpadu Tahun Anggaran 2024 di Papua, yang menarik perhatian banyak pendaftar secara daring. Menurut data yang dilansir oleh Sekretariat Subbagdiapers Biro SDM Polda Papua, terdapat 13.949 orang yang mendaftar. Minat yang tinggi dari Orang Asli Papua (OAP) dalam proses rekrutmen ini mendapatkan apresiasi positif dari para tokoh Papua.

Asisten SDM Kapolri Irjen Dedi Prasetyo juga mendorong para kapolres di Papua untuk aktif melakukan sosialisasi rekrutmen Polri, mengingat bahwa yang direkrut bukan hanya anak-anak muda asli Papua, tetapi juga anak-anak yang lahir dan besar di Papua. Irjen Dedi menambahkan bahwa dari 2.000 personel yang akan direkrut, termasuk 150 paramedis, khususnya tenaga dokter, yang bekerja sama dengan Universitas Cenderawasih (Uncen).

Ondoafi atau Kepala Suku Sosiri Boas Asa Henock memberikan dukungan dan apresiasi atas program penerimaan 2.000 Bintara Polri di lingkungan Polda Papua. Boas juga mencatat adanya kuota khusus bagi anak kepala suku atau ondoafi, serta pengutamaan bagi pelamar OAP. Pagaras melihat hal ini sebagai bentuk penghargaan dari Polri terhadap para ondoafi dan kepala suku di Papua yang berperan dalam menjaga persatuan, keamanan, dan stabilitas di Papua.

Pagaras juga mengamati bahwa perekrutan Akpol Bintara dan Tamtama Polri baru dengan memprioritaskan anak asli Papua merupakan bentuk penghargaan dan apresiasi yang besar dari negara dan pemerintah kepada masyarakat di Bumi Cenderawasih. Namun, Pagaras tetap mengingatkan bahwa meskipun ada kekhususan, proses perekrutan calon Bintara Polri harus dilakukan sesuai prosedur.

Pagaras menghimbau semua pihak untuk mendukung proses rekrutmen agar sesuai dengan moto “BETAH” yaitu Bersih, Transparan, Akuntabel, dan humanis, tanpa menggunakan cara-cara instan seperti penyogokan atau pemerasan dalam proses administrasi seleksi calon anggota Polri. Pagaras juga mengingatkan para calon siswa Polri untuk tidak tergiur oleh tawaran jasa calo seleksi yang menjanjikan kelulusan dengan imbalan uang, karena proses penerimaan Polri tidak memerlukan biaya.

Kepala Kantor Komnas HAM Provinsi Papua, Frit B. Ramandey. S.Sos., M.H, selaku Tim Pengawas Eksternal Rekrutmen Polri Polda Papua, memberikan apresiasi kepada Kapolri Jenderal Polisi Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si. atas kebijakan penerimaan Bintara Polri dengan kuota 10.000, termasuk inovasi kebijakan dengan beberapa kemudahan bagi pemuda OAP. Salah satunya adalah kebijakan afirmatif yang menurunkan batasan usia dari 21 tahun menjadi 25 tahun, untuk merekrut anak-anak Papua.

Selain itu, ada kebijakan yang memudahkan dari kriteria tinggi badan, dengan batasan khusus untuk OAP di pegunungan maupun di pesisir, sehingga memberikan kesempatan bagi anak-anak muda di wilayah Lapago dan Meepago untuk ikut mendaftar seleksi Bintara. Semua kebijakan ini merupakan upaya untuk memberikan kesempatan yang adil bagi masyarakat Papua dalam bergabung dengan Polri.

Dukungan Majelis Rakyat Papua Terhadap Proses Rekruitmen Anggota Polri
Ketua Majelis Rakyat Papua (MRP), Benny Sweny, mengajak para orang tua untuk mendukung anak-anak mereka dalam mengikuti proses seleksi masuk Polri. Beliau meyakini bahwa proses seleksi tersebut transparan dan akuntabel, sehingga memberikan keyakinan kepada masyarakat Papua. Sebagai lembaga representasi prural orang asli Papua, MRP akan memastikan hak-hak masyarakat asli Papua terpenuhi.

Selain itu, kebijakan afirmatif yang telah dilakukan oleh Polri, seperti pembentukan sub panitia daerah di Kabupaten Mimika, memudahkan anak-anak di Papua Pegunungan untuk mengikuti seleksi masuk Polri. Hal ini menunjukkan komitmen Polri dalam mendukung perekrutan dari berbagai daerah, serta memperhatikan kebutuhan dan aksesibilitas bagi calon-calon anggota Polri.

Dalam rekrutmen Polri di Polda Papua, tercatat sebanyak 13.949 orang telah mendaftar, dan 9.411 orang berhasil lolos tahap verifikasi. Polda Papua juga telah merekrut 3.939 personel Polri dalam 3 tahun terakhir, dengan jumlah personel yang terus bertambah setiap tahunnya. Penerimaan 2.000 pemuda dari empat provinsi di wilayah hukum Polda Papua diharapkan akan memberikan dampak positif bagi pembangunan daerah, karena mereka akan kembali ke daerah masing-masing untuk melayani masyarakat.

Pagaras menekankan pentingnya semangat, ketekunan dalam belajar, serta kesadaran akan arti pengabdian dan perjuangan yang harus dilakukan sebagai anggota Polri. Hanya dengan integritas dan kekuatan yang tumbuh dari pemahaman akan tanggung jawab ini, calon anggota Polri dapat melaksanakan tugas dengan baik dan menghargai amanah yang diberikan. Semoga para calon siswa dapat menjadi abdi negara yang tulus dan memberikan kontribusi positif bagi bangsa dan negara.

Pagaras Call On All Participants of the 2024 Papua Police Recruitment

This year, Pagaras has observed the process of Integrated Police Identity Registration (RIM) for the Fiscal Year 2024 in Papua, which has attracted the attention of many online applicants. According to data released by the Secretariat of the Subdivision of Human Resources at the Papua Regional Police Office, there were 13,949 people who applied. The high interest from the Indigenous Papuan People (OAP) in this recruitment process has received positive appreciation from Papua’s leaders.

The Assistant to the Chief of Police for Human Resources, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, has also encouraged police chiefs in Papua to actively promote the recruitment of the Police Force, considering that those recruited are not only young indigenous Papuans but also those born and raised in Papua. Inspector General Dedi added that out of the 2,000 personnel to be recruited, including 150 paramedics, especially doctors, will be collaborating with Cenderawasih University (Uncen).

Ondoafi or the Head of the Sosiri Tribe, Boas Asa Henock, has expressed support and appreciation for the recruitment program of 2,000 Police Enlisted Officers within the Papua Regional Police Office. Boas also noted the special quota for tribal chiefs’ or ondoafis’ children, as well as priority for OAP applicants.

Pagaras sees this as a form of recognition from the Police towards the ondoafis and tribal chiefs in Papua who play a role in maintaining unity, security, and stability in Papua. Pagaras also observes that recruiting new Police Enlisted Officers, Non-commissioned Officers, and Enlisted Personnel while prioritizing indigenous Papuan children is a significant form of recognition and appreciation from the state and government to the people of the Land of the Cenderawasih. However, Pagaras reminds that despite the specificity, the recruitment process for Police Enlisted Officer candidates must be carried out according to procedures.

Pagaras urges all parties to support the recruitment process to align with the motto “BETAH,” which stands for Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humane, without resorting to instant methods such as bribery or extortion in the selection process for Police Force members. Pagaras also reminds Police School candidates not to be tempted by offers from selection brokers promising success in exchange for money, as the Police recruitment process does not require any fees.

S.Sos., M.H, as the External Recruitment Supervisor Team for the Papua Regional Police, expresses appreciation to the Chief of Police, Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., for the policy of recruiting Police Enlisted Officers with a quota of 10,000, including innovative policies with several conveniences for OAP youths. One of these is the affirmative action policy that reduces the age limit from 21 to 25 years old to recruit Papuan youth.

Papua People’s Assembly supports the recruitment process of the Police Force
Chairman of the Papuan People’s Assembly (MRP), Benny Sweny, encourages parents to support their children in participating in the selection process to enter the Indonesian National Police (Polri). He believes that the selection process is transparent and accountable, giving confidence to the people of Papua. As a representative institution of the indigenous Papuan people, MRP will ensure that the rights of the indigenous Papuan community are fulfilled.

Furthermore, the affirmative policies implemented by Polri, such as the formation of sub-committees in Mimika Regency, make it easier for children in the Papuan Highlands to participate in the selection process for Polri. This demonstrates Polri’s commitment to supporting recruitment from various regions, as well as considering the needs and accessibility for potential members of the police force.

In the Polri recruitment in the Papua Regional Police, a total of 13,949 people have registered, with 9,411 people successfully passing the verification stage. The Papua Regional Police has also recruited 3,939 police personnel in the past 3 years, with the number of personnel increasing every year. The acceptance of 2,000 young people from four provinces within the jurisdiction of the Papua Regional Police is expected to have a positive impact on regional development, as they will return to their respective areas to serve the community.

Sweny emphasizes the importance of spirit, perseverance in learning, and awareness of the meaning of dedication and struggle that must be carried out as a member of the police force.
