Pemenang Hoegeng Awards 2024 Sampaikan Harapan Anak Papua

Salah seorang pemenang Hoegeng Awards 2024 untuk kategori Polisi Tapal Batas dan Pedalaman, yaitu Bhabinkamtibmas Kampung Ayambori, Manokwari, Papua Barat, Bripka Septinus Arui menyampaikan harapan anak-anak Papua. Dalam sesi bincang-bincang bersama Kapolri Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo dalam acara penghargaan yang digelar di Gedung Tribrata, Jakarta, Jumat (12/7) malam, Bripka Arui pada mulanya menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas penghargaan yang ia dapatkan.

Lalu, Arui yang merupakan putra dari Suku Arfak di Papua Barat itu bercerita bahwa anak-anak di daerah binaannya ingin menjadi polisi. Ia pun membantu mereka dengan memberikan surat rekomendasi. Akan tetapi, anak-anak tersebut belum lolos untuk masuk akademi kepolisian. Oleh karena itu, dalam kesempatan tersebut, ia menyampaikan harapan anak Papua yang ingin menempuh pendidikan kepolisian secara langsung di hadapan Kapolri.

Adapun Bripka Arui menjadi pemenang dalam kategori Polisi Tapal Batas dan Pedalaman karena dedikasi-nya dalam memajukan pendidikan di daerah binaannya. Diketahui, Polri kembali menggelar Hoegeng Awards 2024 untuk ketiga kalinya. Acara ini merupakan penghargaan bagi para personel kepolisian yang berdedikasi dalam tugasnya.

Terdapat 15 kandidat untuk lima kategori dalam Hoegeng Awards 2024, yakni kategori Polisi Berintegritas, kategori Polisi Tapal Batas dan Pedalaman, kategori Polisi Pelindung Perempuan dan Anak, kategori Polisi Inovatif, dan kategori Polisi Berdedikasi. Dari puluhan kandidat tersebut, ditentukan satu pemenang pada masing-masing kategori.

Berikut daftar pemenang Hoegeng Awards 2024:

1. Polisi Berdedikasi: Pejabat Sementara Kasat Binmas Polres Jayapura, Iptu I Made Ambo Arjana.
2. Polisi Inovatif: Kasat Lantas Polres Kukar periode 2021-2023, AKP Reza Pratama Rhamdani Yusuf.
3. Polisi Pelindung Perempuan dan Anak: Kapolres Bogor, AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro.
4. Polisi Tapal Batas dan Pedalaman: Bhabinkamtibmas Kampung Ayambori, Manokwari, Papua Barat, Bripka Septinus Arui.
5. Polisi Berintegritas: Kabag Gadik Sepolwan Lemdiklat Polri, AKBP Sri Wahyuni.

The Triumph of 2024 Hoegeng Awards: Expressing the Aspirations of Papuan Youth

In one of the notable laureates at the Hoegeng Awards 2024 in the Border and Interior Police category, Bhabinkamtibmas of Ayambori Village, Manokwari, West Papua, Police Inspector Septinus Arui, shared the aspirations of the Papuan children. This was during an intimate discussion with the Chief of the Indonesian Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the prestigious award ceremony held at Tribrata Building, Jakarta, on a Friday night. Initially, Arui, a son of the Arfak tribe of West Papua, expressed his gratitude for receiving the award.

Arui, who has been nurturing the dreams of the children in his village to become police officers, shared that he has been assisting them by providing letters of recommendation. However, these children have yet to secure a place in the police academy. Therefore, he took the opportunity to voice the hopes of the Papuan kids, who are aspiring to step into the world of policing, directly to the Chief of the Police.

Arui was crowned the winner in the Border and Interior Police category due to his unwavering dedication to advancing education in his jurisdiction. It’s noteworthy that the Indonesian Police have staged the Hoegeng Awards 2024 for the third time. This event is a commendation for police personnel who have shown exceptional dedication to their duties.

In this year’s Hoegeng Awards, 15 candidates were nominated across five categories: the Integrity Police, Border and Interior Police, Women and Child Protection Police, Innovative Police, and the Dedicated Police. From these numerous candidates, one winner was selected in each category.

Following is the list of winners at the Hoegeng Awards 2024:

1. Dedicated Policeman: The Interim Chief of the Community Service Department of the Jayapura Police, First Lieutenant Police I Made Ambo Arjana.
2. Innovative Officer: The Chief of the Traffic Department of the Kukar Police for the term 2021-2023, Captain Police Reza Pratama Rhamdani Yusuf.
3. Protector of Women and Children: The Chief of the Bogor Police, Police Commissioner, Lt. Colonel Police Rio Wahyu Anggoro.
4. Border and Frontier Policeman: The territorial security officer of Ayambori Village, Manokwari, West Papua, Chief Sergeant Police Septinus Arui.
5. Integrity Officer: The Head of the Traffic Management and Guidance Division at the Police Education and Training Building of the Indonesian National Police, Police Commissioner, Lt. Colonel Police Sri Wahyuni.
