Indonesia dan Persatuan Emirat Arab Perkuat Kerja Sama Bilateral

Indonesia dan Persatuan Emirat Arab (PEA) kembali memperkuat kerja sama bilateral. Pada kunjungan Presiden Jokowi di Abu Dhabi (17/7) kemarin, dua negara menghasilkan kesepakatan. Kunjungan kerja tersebut membahas beberapa kesepakatan kerja sama bilateral yang signifikan, baik di lingkup pemerintahan, maupun di bidang bisnis.

Presiden Jokowi dalam lawatannya tersebut bertemu dengan Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), Presiden PEA. Keduanya berbincang di Qasr Al Watan demi membahas beberapa hal.

Terdapat delapan nota kesepahaman atau Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yang dihasilkan dalam pertemuan dua kepala negara tersebut, di antaranya:

1. MoU antara Kementerian BUMN dan Eagle Hills terkait turisme dan transportasi udara.
2. MoU antara Nusantara Capital Authority dan Dubai International Financial Centre Authority terkait pembentukan Financial Centre di IKN.
3. MoU antara BRIN dan Emirates Nuclear Energy (ENEC) terkait energi nuklir.
4. MoU antara BI dan UAECB terkait sistem pembayaran.
5. MoU antara Kementerian Keuangan dan Ministry of Finance terkait Public Finance Management.
6. Framework Agreement antara PT DI & PAL Aerospace terkait Technology Transfer of Maritime Patrol Aircraft and Anti-Submarine Warfare.
7. MoU antara Masdar dan PLN Icon+ untuk Joint Assessment and Study instalasi Solar Rooftop bidang komersil dan industrial di Indonesia;
8. MoU antara Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund United Arab Emirates dan Kemenkomarves terkait pembangunan Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Joko Widodo International Mangrove Research Center di Bali.

Jokowi Terima Penghargaan
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, Jokowi turut menerima tanda jasa kehormatan, Order of Zayed, langsung dari Presiden PEA. Order of Zayed sendiri merupakan penghargaan sipil tertinggi dari PEA untuk tokoh-tokoh dunia. Beberapa tokoh dunia yang pernah mendapatkan penghargaan ini adalah Xi Jinping dari Tiongkok, Narendra Modi dari India, dan Vladimir Putin dari Rusia. Presiden PEA menerangkan, pemberian Order of Zayed kepada Jokowi merupakan bukti penghargaan pribadi karena baiknya hubungan antara PEA dan Indonesia.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Jokowi juga menyampaikan apresiasinya kepada MBZ serta rasa terima kasih atas penghargaan yang diberikan. Penghargaan tersebut menunjukkan hubungan persahabatan yang istimewa dan mengusung nama mendiang Sheikh Zayed, tokoh inspiratif global yang memiliki warisan serta nilai kemanusiaan yang abadi.

Dalam kesempatan yang lain, Presiden MBZ turut memberikan penghargaan Order of the Union kepada Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Kemaritiman dan Investasi. Pemberian ini sebagai bentuk apresiasi PEA atas hubungan yang baik antarnegara.

Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have further strengthened their bilateral cooperation. During President Jokowi’s visit to Abu Dhabi (July 17) yesterday, the two countries reached several agreements. The working visit discussed several significant bilateral cooperation agreements, both in the governmental and business sectors.

President Jokowi met with Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), President of the UAE, during his visit. The two discussed several matters at Qasr Al Watan.

Eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were produced during the meeting of the two heads of state, among them:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the State-Owned Enterprises Ministry and Eagle Hills regarding tourism and air transportation.
2. Memorandum of Understanding between Nusantara Capital Authority and Dubai International Financial Centre Authority regarding the establishment of a Financial Centre in IKN.
3. Memorandum of Understanding between BRIN and Emirates Nuclear Energy (ENEC) regarding nuclear energy.
4. Memorandum of Understanding between Bank Indonesia and UAECB regarding payment systems.
5. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance regarding Public Finance Management.
6. Framework Agreement between PT DI & PAL Aerospace regarding Technology Transfer of Maritime Patrol Aircraft and Anti-Submarine Warfare.
7. Memorandum of Understanding between Masdar and PLN Icon+ for Joint Assessment and Study of solar rooftop installation in commercial and industrial sectors in Indonesia.
8. Memorandum of Understanding between Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund United Arab Emirates and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry regarding the construction of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Joko Widodo International Mangrove Research Center in Bali.

Jokowi Receives Award
Jokowi received an honorary award, the Order of Zayed, directly from the President of UAE. The Order of Zayed is the UAE’s highest civilian award for world figures.

Some world figures who have previously received this award include Xi Jinping from China, Narendra Modi from India, and Vladimir Putin from Russia. The UAE President explained that the bestowal of the Order of Zayed upon Jokowi is a personal expression of appreciation for the excellent relations between UAE and Indonesia.

During the meeting, Jokowi also expressed his appreciation to MBZ and his gratitude for the award. The award signifies a special friendship and bears the name of the late Sheikh Zayed, a global inspirational figure who has an enduring legacy and humanitarian values.

On another occasion, President MBZ also presented the Order of the Union to Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Coordinating Maritime Affairs and Investment. This award is a form of appreciation from UAE for the good relations between the two countries.
