Selama penyelenggaraan forum internasional tersebut, hadir pula lima kepala negara, antara lain Presiden Indonesia, Joko Widodo, Presiden Fiji, Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, Presiden Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Perdana Menteri Maroko, Aziz Akhannouch, dan Perdana Menteri Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda. Selain itu, Mantan Presiden Hungaria Janos Ader juga turut hadir sebagai utusan khusus. Sebanyak 51 Menteri dan 57 pejabat tinggi, serta 27 organisasi internasional diwakili oleh total 135 pejabat tingkat menteri. Terdapat juga 200 anggota parlemen dari 49 negara, 150 wakil pejabat lokal dan kawasan dari 23 negara, serta 847 wakil dari sub-regional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
World Water Forum ke-10 resmi ditutup dengan penekanan pada tiga poin penting terkait masalah air. Basuki Hadimuljono, Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR), menyoroti beberapa langkah nyata yang telah disepakati dalam forum tersebut, seperti menjadikan Hari Danau Sedunia, mendirikan pusat keunggulan untuk ketahanan air dan iklim, serta pengarusutamaan pengelolaan sumber daya air terpadu di pulau-pulau kecil. Basuki juga menekankan pentingnya kerjasama lintas sektoral dalam menyediakan air bersih dan sanitasi merata secara menyeluruh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dalam pidato penutupannya, Basuki menegaskan perlunya realisasi kompendium yang diluncurkan pada pertemuan tingkat menteri untuk memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat. Dia juga menyerukan agar setiap negara anggota berkontribusi sesuai dengan kemampuan masing-masing, tanpa berkompetisi melainkan memberikan solusi dalam agenda air global. Basuki berharap agar forum internasional ini dapat membawa manfaat besar bagi komunitas global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sebagai salah satu perwakilan Pemerintah Indonesia, Basuki menyerahkan estafet pelaksanaan World Water Forum ke-11 kepada Arab Saudi, yang akan menjadi tuan rumah KTT selanjutnya pada tahun 2027. Dengan demikian, forum ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang pertemuan internasional yang penting, tetapi juga menjadi momentum untuk kolaborasi global dalam mengatasi tantangan ketersediaan air bersih di masa depan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
English Version<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Three Key Agreements Reached at the 10th World Water Forum for Global Water Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The 10th World Water Forum is an esteemed international event that has been long-awaited. This forum brings together many countries from around the world to collectively address the issue of clean water availability. The event took place from the 18th to the 25th of May 2024, and this time it was held in Bali, Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The forum consisted of various events, ranging from the National Stakeholder Forum to the climax of the 10th World Water Forum, with a total of 50,488 participants. In Bali, there were 19,686 participants from 160 countries in attendance. Additionally, the Expo and Fair from the 20th to the 24th of May 2024 was attended by 23,718 participants. The total number of participants and visitors over the five days reached approximately 64,000 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the international forum, five heads of state were present, including President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, President of Fiji, Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, President of Sri Lanka, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister of Morocco, Aziz Akhannouch, and Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda. Former President of Hungary, Janos Ader, also attended as a special envoy. A total of 51 Ministers and 57 high-ranking officials, as well as 27 international organizations, were represented by a total of 135 ministerial-level officials. Basuki Hadimuljono, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, highlighted some concrete steps that were agreed upon during the forum, such as designating World Lake Day, establishing a center of excellence for water and climate resilience, and mainstreaming integrated water resource management in small island nations. Basuki also stressed the importance of cross-sectoral cooperation in providing clean water and sanitation universally and comprehensively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In his closing speech, Basuki emphasized the need for the realization of the compendium launched at the ministerial meeting to benefit society. He also called for each member country to contribute according to their capabilities, not to compete but to provide solutions to the global water agenda. Basuki hoped that this international forum would bring significant benefits to the global community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a representative of the Indonesian Government, Basuki handed over the implementation of the 11th World Water Forum to Saudi Arabia, which will host the next summit in 2027.
